Pablo Gatica started dancing at the age of 3 however, his technical training didn’t begin until the age of 10. His styles range from Tribal to Folklorico, Hip-Hop to Ballet and Contemporary to Jazz. He’s had the chance to train with some of the best dance educators in the industry. Some of those names include Jess Warfield, Dee Caspary, and Ade Obayomi, just to name a few. Pablo’s teaching career began at the age of 15 when he was hired by Performing and Visual Arts Camp (where he began theater training at age 6) hired him as their summer dance instructor. As a freshman in high school, Pablo became one of the principal choreographers for Santa Barbara High Schools Dance Production program. While still in high school Pablo had the opportunity to teach contemporary, jazz and hip hop at Zermeño Dance Academy. When Momentum Dance Company was founded in 2014, Pablo joined their Pro Company and had a successful competition season. In the summer of 2016, he attended Velocity Dance Convention nationals and placed in the top 10 for their Senior Male MVA division. He was offered a teaching position 4 years ago, along side being owner/director Betsy Woyach's assistant. In March of 2018 one of his biggest dreams became a reality when he signed with Go 2 Talent Agency. This October Pablo will be moving to Los Angeles to pursue his professional dance career and to expand his dance/teaching vocabulary. If there’s anything he could wish these kids it would be to always dream big, always work hard and have dedication for whatever it is you are doing in life.
