Teeny Tiny Company
The newest and youngest of Momentum's Competitive companies, our new Season 13 Teeny Tiny Company is composed of enthusiastic young dancers ages 4-6. Teeny Tiny dancers will represent Momentum Dance Company at one national dance competition and will participate in the annual company concert. These dancers should display a love for dance, enjoy the spotlight, and have the ability to focus on their dancing!

Mini Company
Mini Company is a step up from our Itsy Bitsy company, and serves as an introduction to our company commitment. These passionate dancers aged 6-9 years old come together to explore the technical aspects of dance! Our competitive team is dedicated to strengthening their technique while embracing exciting performance opportunities. Through engaging classes and supportive mentorship, our young dancers not only hone their skills but also build confidence and teamwork.

Petite Company
Petite dancer's are between the ages of 7-9 years of age and are strong performers! Petite members are fun and sassy to watch on stage and embody the meaning of "good things come in small packages!" These dancers are committed to becoming the best dancer they can be! We introduce to you...The Petite Company!

Junior Company
This company is composed of dancers ages 9-11 years old and have made dance their first priority over all other extra curricular activities. They represent Momentum Dance Company at national dance competitions, conventions, community and non-community performances.

Company Ages 12+
Company members ages 12 + are MDC's prime example of what it means to be a company member. They exude a charisma and passion for dance that is contagious. They set the example for what other company members should strive for and are continuously working at improving their craft in and out of rehearsals. This well-rounded group of dancers are powerful in presence, confidence, and commitment.

Additional Duets & Trios

Choreography Fee: $200-250 per dancer, depending on choreographer. Includes up to 10 hours of rehearsals to teach choreography, music selection and edits. Due when choreography rehearsals begin.

Costume Fee: $225, due when choreography rehearsals begin

Monthly Private Lesson Fee: $45 per dancer, depending on who teaches the private lesson. After the choreography has been taught, the dancer’s account will be charged each month and the dancers responsible for scheduling the private lesson with the teacher of their choice.

Competition Fee : $70-125 per dancer for 4 competitions (includes the two convention with competition)

Duet/Trio will not take priority over an additional group dance. If a dancer is able to compete ONE additional dance in addition to the minimum requirements, and have indicated on the audition form an interest in an additional group dance or duet/trio, Landy and Betsy will determine whether the extra dance is a group dance or a duet/trio.

Soloists

For Season 13 we will be limiting the number of solo routines awarded due to the significant increase in interest and demand. Receiving a solo is considered a privilege and opportunity that reflects not only a dancer’s talent, but also their dedication, attitude, work ethic, professionalism, and overall contribution to the MDC environment. This season, dancers interested in being considered for a solo will complete both an audition and a written portion explaining why they want this opportunity. Solo selections will be based on a variety of factors including training habits, rehearsal etiquette, commitment, accountability, maturity, and positive representation of the studio both inside and outside the classroom. Parent conduct and professionalism will also be taken into consideration throughout the selection process. Please note that competition placements or awards from previous seasons will not determine solo eligibility or selection. Our goal is to award solos to dancers who consistently embody the values, character, and culture of Momentum Dance Company.
