Covid-19 Policies

These policies were developed for our Summer camps but will stay in effect throughout the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Camps will be limited to 10 dancers per week. We will have a waiting list for each week in case of cancellations

  • Camps will be lead by one teacher and two assistants

  • Teachers, assistants and dancers will have their temperature taken daily upon arrival to the studio with a contact free thermometer. ANy teacher assistant or dancer with a temperature over 100.3 will not be permitted inside the studio.

  • Teachers, assistants and dancers must sanitize hands at drop off before entering the studio, and will be asked to sanitize and wash hand multiple times throughout the day at camp at one of our 7 hand sanitizing stations

  • Drop off and Pick up will happen in front of the studio outside at our check in /check out table. No parents will be allowed in the dance studio

  • Students will be allowed to bring snacks and lunch with them and very small bag which they will keep in labeled cubbies throughout day

  • Teachers must wear mask. Students are optional. Teachers are recommended to wear bandana type mask for more airflow. If student decides to wear mask, teacher to monitor for paleness, dizziness in student during intense workouts.

  • Students over the age of 5 can wear face masks per the descretion of their parent.

  • Dancers will have a Pre-marked dance area on the dance floor in which they will dance and do their arts and crafts in while at the studio

  • Lunch, snacks and certain arts & crafts will happen outside on the sidewalk maintaining social distancing

  • Campers will be given their own set of craft materials for the week with their name on it and keep in their cubby

  • All facilities will be cleaned and sanitized by professional cleaners prior to opening and on a weekly basis. A Uvilizer UVC Light Sanitizer will be placed in the studio to sanitize while dancers are outside having snacks, lunch or doing a craft.

  • Uvilizer UVC Light Sanitizer will be used throughout entire studio at the end of each day of camp.

  • Teachers will wipe down with disinfectant vulnerable areas, doorknobs, barres, mats, bathroom and other frequently touched surfaces before & after all classes.

  • Only one dancer will be allowed in the bathroom at a time. Dancer must wash hands before returning to camp

  • A Uvilizer UVC Light Sanitizer will be placed in the bathroom to disinfect the bathroom after each use

  • No students allowed in the office. Only 1 teacher or assistant at a time

  • Teachers, assistants and students who have symptoms or are not feeling well will notify the studio immediately and stay home.

  • Teachers who are well but who have a sick family member at home with COVID-19 should notify the studio immediately and stay home.

  • Teachers will take their temperature before coming to studio. If temperature is above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, please call Betsy  immediately. A substitute teacher will be provided.

  • Teachers will wash hands before opening doors to students.

  • No pre or post class socializing will be allowed. Parents may not come into the studio. No congregating on the sidewalk. Curbside student drop off and pick up only.

  • Students will bring their own water bottles, snacks and lunch.

  • All doors will be open at all times to allow fresh airflow into the studio.

  • Two Air purifiers will be running during operation hours in the large studio

  • Teachers will record final day performance of each week of camp to share electronically with parents.
